MediaS.E.S.A.M.E. and the MediaIt is our goal to raise public awareness of the dynamics and damage of educator sexual abuse. When inquiries about possible interviews with victims of particular teacher/offender types (coaches, younger grades, etc.) are made to us, SESAME passes the survivor the media contact information and is careful to reiterate that it is a personal choice to speak publicly. Telling the story of abuse is difficult and can be traumatic, and we are dedicated to protecting victims throughout the process.
